Will studied meteorology at the Utrecht University. He was an inspiring teacher of physics on higher secondary schools for nearly 30 years.
Weather was his thing. But he had a broad interest in earth science, astronomy and linguistics. He was fluently in English, German, French, Spanish, Norwegian and later Thai. He liked mountain hiking, especially in Norway.
When we moved to Thailand in 2005, he soon started to write his Ao Nang Weather website.
Collecting data for his website was the most work. If possible he update his weather forecast at 7 AM, in time for local people to change their plans for this day.
On behalf of Will, I would like to thank all the visitors to this website. The number of visitors and the feedback makes him feel good and gives him the energy to continue with his Ao Nang weather forecast for so long.
