If you have transportation for you and your bicycle to and from this point, it saves you a more or less boring 19 km along the main road. Go straight on about 100 m. Turn right into a narrow concrete road opposite a small mosque. |
| 6 | 13,3 | After 2,3 km the concrete road becomes a dirt road. After a few climbs and descents a steep cliff comes in sight. The dirt road seems to take you right to the cliff face. At a small house the dirt road turns sharply left. You arrive at a new concrete road. Turn right. The concrete road becomes a dirt road again that runs parallel to the cliff with the cliff at your left hand side. |
| 7 | 16,1 | The dirt road ends with a steep rise at an afphalt road. Turn left to the west. 800 m further turn right into the next dirt road. This road circles anti-clockwise around the Khao Thong mountain with gradually better scenery. |
| 8 | 20,6 | After a long and steep descent the dirt road ends at an asphalt road. Turn left. The landscape becomes spectacular. |
| 9 | 23,4 | A junction is announced by a traffic sign that tells you to either turn left or right. Do neither. Go straight on. After 100 m turn left. You pass a buddhist temple at your right hand side. You arrive at a wider road. Turn right into this wider road. (All the signs are in Thai language). |
| 10 | 24,5 | Turn left into the next asphalt road. (If you go straight on, you arrive at a point where the road ends in a mangrove forest. After looking around, just go back and turn into the asphalt road, now to the right). |
| 11 | 26,4 | A wide dirt road to the left starts here at the asphalt road. It is possible to make a minor short cut to Khao Klom by turning left into this dirt road. Route 9 continues over the asphalt road that turns 90° to the right at this point. A few hundred meters further the asphalt road turns 90° left. A concrete road goes straight on here. Keep to the asphalt road. |
